Marathon 70 – Dymchurch

My first go at a Saxon, Vikings, Normans running event.  Beer and curry the night before was not a great start to a 5am drive down the seaside.

Weather was very foggy but warm, and trotted out to run the 5 out and back loops along the sea wall.  Kept pace pretty consistent but combination of lack of sleep and the concrete course tired legs.  Managed to hold it together for a 3:32, same time as the marathon earlier in January.

Medal and goody bag were both excellent!
